Michelle Obama -Behind Closed Doors

Her Husband, his advisors, the press and the Democrats have all put a muzzle on Michelle Obama for some time now.

But... who does Mr. President go home to after a long days work?

Nowadays she’s playing the role of dutiful wife and doting mother, but every once in a while her anger surfaces as it did most famously when Michelle proclaimed in February, 2008, For the first time in her adult life, she was proud of America, as she spoke during a rally to support her husband’s presidential bid.
I bet it chaps her ass that being Betty Crocker and Mrs. Greenjeans is the only outlet and public perception she is allowed to express.

A year ago she was doing stump speeches for her husband that reflected more her personal viewpoints and her own personal black vs. the world politics. If they wanted to get the 'making History' white vote, they needed to shut her up and let Barac give his smooth non-controversional 'Change' speeches. Here are some of the words from her own mouth...

"We've lost sight of the fact that we are one another's brothers' and sisters' keepers in this nation. We have to prepare to sacrifice something big for the greater good. In order to do that, you have to feel some faith and trust and inspiration in our leadership. I don't think there's anyone else in this race who's going to be able to unify this country, who's going to be able to change the way politics is done, who's going to bring people together who never thought they had anything common before and who's going to do it in a way that's decent and honest. That man is my husband, Barack Obama."

"Hope is making a comeback and, let me tell you, for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country. Not just because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change,"

"In 2008, we are still a nation that is too divided. We live in isolation, and because of that isolation, we fear one another."
"We don't know our neighbors. We don't talk. We believe that our pain is our own -- we don't realize that the struggles and challenges of all of us are the same."
"We are too isolated. And we are still a nation that is still too cynical."
"We look at it as them and they as opposed to us -- we don't engage because we are still too cynical."
"Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four! Because sometimes it's easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions. It makes you feel justified in your own ignorance. That's America. So the challenge for us is are we ready for change?"

"Don't get sick in this country -- not here. Americans are in debt not because they live frivolously but because someone got sick. And even with insurance, the deductibles and premiums are so high that people are still putting medication [and ?] treatments on credit cards."

"And things have gotten progressively worse throughout my lifetime -- through Democratic and Republican administrations -- it hasn't gotten better for regular folks."

"We've got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money."

"I am not going to realistically be the policy expert on every opinion and position that Barack has because I don't have the time to do it, quite frankly. And I have to be okay with that. That is the internal struggle that I, and a lot of women, have. You listen to the outside, which says you have an obligation -- because you're smart and well-educated -- to do this. And it's like, 'Yeah, but I also have these kids.'"

Michelle Obama is a depressing specimen of a post-modern class victim, she resents her 'feeling black' (whatever that means) -- is demanding, whining, self-absorbed, self-pitying, and infantile. She couldn't be more the opposite of former 1st Lady, Jackie Kennedy, the sweet, meek, debutantic, needy barbie who was typical of her day...and I resent the comparisons the media brings up.

The old saying goes..."When momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy".
Now there's talk that she wants a Government salary.
Said to make her case in a 3-page article at WashingtonPost.com, "Michelle Obama has impeccable credentials that will not be diminished by her decision to discontinue her paid work outside the home($400,000 a year). Like other first ladies before her, she will have an office, a staff and even a budget. What other positions with staffing and budgets have no job description?"
(duh, how many 1st Ladies are there??...and you weren't elected!)
"It is only fair that the role of first lady be formally recognized for the demanding position that it is. Then we can stop the false argument about whether Obama has "opted out" of the workplace, knowing that she is about to begin the hardest job she will ever hold."

For a lady who all her life, felt inferior because of race, yet was a 'legacy' candidate into Princeton and a beneficiary of affirmative action, married a Senator and then her salary went from $121,910 to $316,962 due to Barack Obama, the agent of "change" in Washington, had requested an earmark in 2006 for $1 million taxpayer dollars for the hospital where his wife worked. (Do you know of anyone that has ever gotten a 260% raise? I sure don't.)

Michelle Obama was granted many opportunities that others more accomplished were denied. (you can read the whole timeline at the link below)

One might expect that the 'reaction' of someone who gets so many privileges to be grateful to a society that makes them possible. But no. Michelle Obama thinks that her very success is an example of white oppression. By a bizarre twist of logic, she converts "you're not good enough, but we'll take you anyway" into a message of "they said I wasn't good enough, but I proved them wrong."

I hope they keep her mouth shut for a long time and for god's sake, prewrite whatever does come out of her mouth.
But I guess I spoke to soon...
Today, she announced, "Now let's get down to work!" and the press is all googley saying, "Maybe we have the wrong Obama in office".
Pleeze.... she is in office, His office. She's the 1st Lady, paid or not, and the person behind Closed Doors.

Michelle As First Lady of the White House.....

The bust, entitled "Michelle Obama's Makeover for America" shows Michelle Obama in the style of an African Queen, wearing large hooped earrings and an "afro pick" comb in her Egyptian-influenced hairstyle.

An American flag is tattooed across her naked chest and the comb is decorated with pearls, the traditional garb of a First Lady, and an American Eagle.

The work, by controversial sculptor Daniel Edwards, is clearly a nod to both Mrs. Obama's ethnic roots and her position at the heart of American culture and politics.
(not very nurturing, nor feminine for the matter!)
