Illegal aliens and those who wish to give them amnesty are causing further means to mutilate, corrode, shatter, and abrade true Patriotism and Pride of all Americans.

Scathing Congress report slams Obama's 'covert, criminal activity'
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the ranking Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, issued a scathing staff report today charging that the White House has "used the machinery of the Obama campaign to tout the president's agenda through inappropriate and sometimes unlawful public relations and propaganda initiatives."
An advance pre-publication copy of the report, shared by Issa's Washington office with WND, accuses the White House of nothing short of criminal activity. It charges the Obama administration with violating federal laws to advance what the Government Accounting Office has characterized as an unlawful "covert campaign," using federal resources "to activate a sophisticated propaganda and lobbying campaign."
Pulling no punches, the Oversight Republican Report accuses the Obama White House of "violating federal law prohibiting the use of appropriated funds for publicity or propaganda purposes."
"The White house has failed to transition from campaign mode to leadership mode and is now inappropriately leveraging those campaign-trail relationships to unlawfully generate support for the president's agenda," the report concludes.

$26.1 billion bailout - more distruction
Why is Congress demanding that governors and mayors fire teachers, cops and firefighters before cutting ridiculous spending like this:
$120,000,000 spent on state-run liquor stores - Washington State
$39,608,662 spent on neighborhood & recreational services - Newark, New Jersey
$7,000,000 spent on museums - Oakland, California
$1,607,367 spent on awards and prizes at county fairs - Illinois
$1,000,000 spent on mural art - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
$750,000 spent on the opera house - Baltimore, Maryland
This week Speaker Pelosi has called the House of Representatives back to Congress. The intent is to spend another $26.1 Billion.
The Porkulus II: what it does....
Forces states to take bailout dollars, bypassing Governors who refuse the money, and forbidding them from making necessary budget cuts.
Gives teachers unions roughly $50 - $100 million through trickle-down.
Will increase the deficit by $12.6 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
Will result in a permanent tax increase of $9.7 billion for U.S. multinational companies - increasing the cost of doing business and risking jobs during the recession. (Interestingly, the revenue from these same tax increases have already been spent...twice, in two other pieces of legislation!)
The fact is, the federal government cannot afford to bailout states who refuse to cut back spending. In case Nancy Pelosi forgot, the American people still fund the federal government. If states can't afford it, neither can the federal government. Bailing out states and extending failed stimulus programs only perpetuates states' reliance on the federal government.
What sucks...is there is nothing we can do about it. Guess what? No amount of good conservative candidates can fix this mess...and if they try, they will be the most hated people on earth for reining in, making big cuts and depriving these bloodsuckers who are not willing to give up these programs and entitlements. Hate to say it....a crash and collapse will be easier to endure than living with the long term effects of what Dems have done to America in just the last 2 years.

Time for the United Nations to Leave the United States
War is being waged against the rights of American Citizens, and the enemy HQ is located in New York City, USA. This enemy is the UN.
Two major meetings, possibly affecting American gun owners’ rights, will occur at the United Nations (UN) in New York over the next several weeks. They are the Fourth Biennial Meeting of States to Consider the Implementation of the Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms in all its Aspects, (“BMS4”) June 14-18, and the Arms Trade Treaty Preparatory Committee (“ATT Prep. Com.”) July 12-23. Wait it gets better.
A Mexican diplomat will chair the meeting and Mexico, which blames its crime problems on the U.S., is now pushing for more gun control in America. Anti-gun, anti-U.S. measures could well be on the table. And what countries leader recently stood before the US Congress and used made up data to blame the US for its woes? Yep, the great bastion of democracy, Mexico. Coincidence? If you believe the life rules of Lee Roy Jethro Gibbs, there is no such thing as coincidence. Let's call this planned happenstance.
The BMS4 is a continuation of the so-called “Programme of Action” (POA) adopted by the UN at a conference in 2001. Anti-gun groups saw the original POA as a vehicle for UN gun bans, registration schemes and other radical proposals. The U.S., through the efforts of Ambassador John Bolton, forced the removal of provisions targeting privately-owned firearms from the POA. It was not able to stop the POA itself, and the UN holds “Biennial” meetings every two years to keep the POA alive. Heavily-funded anti-gun groups will again attempt to get the UN and its member states to target the right to arms at the BMS4.
If this has your head spinning, there's more. There is yet another anti Second Amendment movement in the UN. Its called the Small Arms Treaty. In fact the Washington Times ran a story on June 5, 2010 which claimed the Obama Administration said it would support the treaty. The NRA, has since said that story is false. But the fact remains, the UN Small Arms Treaty does exist and if ratified it could give a foreign government power to over rule the US Constitution in the United States!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the issue here!
Regardless of your stance on guns, you better stand up for the Constitution because if "one goes, they all go". Meaning when one part of the Constitution is neutralized, others will follow in lock step.
Our Constitution and the fact that citizens own guns is what gives us the 'fear factor' that those in the United Nations want to distroy most. Our military couldn't be more spreadout around the world than they are right now and our national guard has gone too....that just leaves us, the citizen patriot to hold down the fort from the schnanigons of the United Nations.
And here's the other issue....after todays mini speech from the prez where he says to hell with all the legal process of appointing judges...(because 80% of his appointees don't pass muster)and let's get those radical liberal gavel holders back to work to 'improve' social justice.
I say, "An armed society is a safer society". This prevents innocent people from becoming victims and may make these "out of control-repeat enabled offenders from carrying on their violent ways.
Law abiding citizens must stand up for themselves since the lawmakers only seem to protect the freakin criminal. Any lawmaker who seeks to destroy your ability to defend your life as guaranteed in the second amendment, should be treated as a thug themselves. Arizona give us the biggest example. For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period: (below)

As the U.S. Economy Grinds To Halt....
WASHINGTON—The U.S. economy ceased to function this week after unexpected existential remarks by Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke shocked Americans into realizing that money is, in fact, just a meaningless and intangible social construct.
What began as a routine report before the Senate Finance Committee Tuesday ended with Bernanke passionately disavowing the entire concept of currency, and negating in an instant the very foundation of the world’s largest economy.
“Though raising interest rates is unlikely at the moment, the Fed will of course act appropriately if we…if we…” said Bernanke, who then paused for a moment, looked down at his prepared statement, and shook his head in utter disbelief. “You know what? It doesn’t matter. None of this—this so-called ‘money’—really matters at all.”
“It’s just an illusion,” a wide-eyed Bernanke added as he removed bills from his wallet and slowly spread them out before him. “Just look at it: Meaningless pieces of paper with numbers printed on them. Worthless.”
According to witnesses, Finance Committee members sat in thunderstruck silence for several moments until Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) finally shouted out, "Oh my God, he's right. It's all a mirage. All of it—the money, our whole economy—it's all a lie!"
Screams then filled the Senate Chamber as lawmakers and members of the press ran for the exits, leaving in their wake aisles littered with the remains of torn currency.
U.S. markets closed as traders left their jobs and resolved for once to do or make something, anything of real value.
As news of the nation's collectively held delusion spread, the economy ground to a halt, with dumbfounded citizens everywhere walking out on their jobs as they contemplated the little green drawings of buildings and dead white men they once used to measure their adequacy and importance as human beings.

For some Americans, the fog of disbelief surrounding the nation's epiphany has begun to lift, with many building new lives free from the illusion of money.
"It's back to basics for me," Bernard Polk of Waverly, OH said. "I'm going to till the soil for my own sustenance and get anything else I need by bartering. If I want milk, I'll pay for it in tomatoes. If need a new hoe, I'll pay for it in lettuce."
When asked, hypothetically, how he would pay for complicated life-saving surgery for a loved one, Polk seemed uncertain.
"That's a lot of vegetables, isn't it?" he said.

To safeguard your net worth in the inflationary days to come, always remember: Don't leave your earnings in paper money for long. As quickly as possible, convert it into tangibles, to protect your savings from the ravages of inflation. Consumer price inflation is mild now, but that probably won't be the case in the near future. Adjust your monetary mindset and your modus operandi!

Equal Justice Under the Law
Not only does Todd Gaziano (Congressional appointee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights) claim that the 2008 Election Day voter intimidation charge against the Philadelphia New Black Panther Party was“open and shut,” but that Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes ordered, “Never bring another lawsuit against a black or other national minority, apparently no matter what they do.”
Like the Van Jones story, the ACORN story, and the Charlie Bolden/Muslim outreach story, this is another example of stories the MSM doesn’t want you to know about. And why not?

UnFricken Believable! Sue Who???
This is very disturbing! Fifty-four percent (54%) of the total combined deficits of all the states in 2009 and 2010 are attributable to spending on illegal aliens. And this number ($84 billion annually) is probably understated in that it probably does not include the amount we spend for border control, law enforcement, and incarceration of illegal alien criminals. In addition, when one considers that these illegals do not pay much in taxes and take jobs from unemployed Americans, it is obvious that the price we pay for not enforcing our laws is unsustainable and immoral. And this is not racist...I'd say the same thing about any invasion from a foreign country. If Canadians were coming over by the millions and taking advantage of our system and sending the money home...I'd feel the same way.
And, instead of protecting the border which is one of his primary constitutional requirements, our manchurian president has the gaul to sue Arizona for trying to enforce the laws that the Federal government won't enforce. It's dereliction of duty! Look that one up, mr president, it's right above "deresive".
Barry, to quote Governor Brewer, "it's time to step up and do your job! Protect the border"!
Maybe the American people better sue YOU! Not protecting our country is an impeachable offense, you fool! (but then, the american people are cowards, right? Isn't that what your administration thinks and are counting on?)

The above is bizarre and simply not true. Enforcement priorities? Are you kidding? The reason the Feds prioritize arrests is because of limited resources - not because it is ok to violate the law. It's not ok to violate the law. The Feds simply don't have the manpower in law enforcement and the money to arrest and hold everyone who violates the law so naturally the Fed prioritize and focus on the most violent. But in this instance, the state of Arizona is saying essentially, "we will help. We will pick up the tab - manpower and custody for the Feds."

We might not last until Elections in NOV
The Economy and just about any other topic that is Headlining could erupt, distrupt or distruct at any time. US Treasurer, Tim Geithner described last week that our country can no longer be the one others look out to. " USA will no longer drive world economic growth", we can no longer consider the USA as the champion for every cause or the country with political clout. We live in a very fragile state and tomorrow could bring the one trigger that could send us over the edge.
Until recently, most people in the United States of America did not believe that President Obama's mission was actually to destroy our country.
If we are to survive as a nation and a people—or simply survive at all—we will have to rebuild it almost from the ground up, collapse or not. In order to do so, we will have to rid ourselves of the Marxist traitors to this country who now inhabit and infest the All 3, Judicial, Congressional and Executive branches of government in Washington DC and many of our State elected offices. If we are to survive and, again, begin to live, we must never allow an anti-human Marxist and/or Maoist contingent to enter any form of government—let alone the office of president.
The US Declaration of Independence—our nation’s first founding document—tells us what is required of We-the-People.
It reads in part: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to SECURE these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Of particular significance is the last sentence which I reiterate:

US City Taken Over By Illegal Immigrants
Dateline Maywood, California. This Los Angeles County municipality --- 97% Hispanic, 40% illegal --- was one of the first cities to declare itself a sanctuary city and to demand a boycott of the state of Arizona for enforcing immigration laws. It's city council is entirely Hispanic and dominated by La Raza racists. Years ago, it prohibited its police department from confiscating cars from unlicensed drivers. It has demanded Congress grant unconditional amnesty to illegal immigrants. It is every progressive left/Wall Street Journal policy on open borders concentrated in one Los Angeles suburb.
How's that working out for them?
Today, Maywood is broke. Its police department dismantled along with all other city departments and personnel. Only the city council remains and a city manager to manage the contracts with other agencies for city services in Maywood.
Even the L.A. Times called the Maywood Police Department a "haven for misfit cops." Their story alleged that a veteran officer was extorting sex from relatives of a criminal fugitive; that another officer tried to run over the president of the Maywood Police Commission; and that another officer has impregnated a teenage police-explorer scout.
Maywood is the end result of what Obama-Napolitano-La Raza-the Arizona boycotters and the editorial board of the WSJ want for America.
...and I invite anyone who's ever said .....but their just good people looking for a better life or"...we WELCOME immigration, we just want to stop criminals from coming in..."to live for a week in Maywood.
I'll wager that (illegal immigration aside) most of those folks are not criminals or terrorists. But you c'mon down and see what it's like. Check out what these folks do to a neighborhood. They have a third-world, almost tribal way of life AND ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION OF CHANGING IT.
The sickly squalor, the noise, the ignorance, the bigotry (oh yes, white bleeding heart progressives, your Latino amigos don't look at you with love in their eyes!)...you try living with that for a while.
THEN realize that you're looking at literally thousands of square miles that are mostly Latino ghettos with a few areas holding on by their fingernails to stay nice. When immigrants, both legal and illegal, come here and don't assimilate, they bring their form of "justice, law and government" with them - all of which are corrupt in their home countries.

Obama To Earn Nearly $85 Million From Gulf Oil Disaster
Well isn’t this interesting? Check out what AdamDodson.org revealed. Obama will earn nearly $85 MILLION from this gulf oil disaster! No wonder he has all this time for golfing, parties, and never spoke to BP CEO Tony Hayward! It’s all becoming all too clear now:
“Goldman Sachs wasn’t alone either in its astute “foreknowledge” of the collapse of BP’s stock value due to the Gulf disaster as BP’s own chief executive, Tony Hayward, sold about one-third of his shares weeks before this catastrophe began unfolding too.
But according to this FSB report the largest seller of BP stock in the weeks before this disaster occurred was the American investment company known as Vanguard who through two of their financial arms (Vanguard Windsor II Investor and Vanguard Windsor Investor) unloaded over 1.5 million shares of BP stock saving their investors hundreds of millions of dollars, chief among them President Obama.
For though little known by the American people, their President Obama holds all of his wealth in just two Vanguard funds, Vanguard 500 Index Fund where he has 3 accounts and the Vanguard FTSE Social Index Fund where he holds another 3 accounts, all six of which the FSB estimates will earn Obama nearly $8.5 million a year and which over 10 years will equal the staggering sum of $85 million.
The FSB further estimates in this report that through Obama’s 3 accounts in the Vanguard 500 Index Fund he stands to make another $100 million over the next 10 years as their largest stock holding is in the energy giant Exxon Mobil they believe will eventually acquire BP and all of their assets for what will be essentially a “rock bottom” price and which very predictably BP has hired Goldman Sachs to advise them on.
Important to note is that none of this wealth Obama, Goldman Sachs, and other American elites is acquiring would be possible without this disaster, all of whom, as the evidence shows, “somehow” knew what was going to happen before it actually did, including the US energy giant Halliburton who 2 weeks prior to this disaster just happened to purchase the World’s largest oil disaster service company Boots & Coots”.

Is Obama's BP Shakedown an Impeachable Offense?
The president has no legal authority to create the escrow fund and no authority to compel BP to contribute to the fund. Forcing BP to agree to the terms of the escrow is ultra vires (i.e., illegal), beyond the powers of his office. Rep. Barton (R-TX) accurately described the slush fund as a "shakedown" (i.e., blackmail), a felony. If so, Pres. Obama has committed an impeachable offense. Congress itself does not have the authority to create the escrow fund retroactively. Congress will have no voice at all except to vilify any Republican who raises questions about it. All the ACORN employees who lost their jobs when the banks stopped paying "blackmail" to ACORN may be getting better-paying new jobs processing claims.
No doubt the media, which show pictures of the spill and pelicans covered with oil 24 hours a day, seven days a week, will hail the president's tough dealing with BP. But BP's oil spill deserves the strongest action under the law, not above the law. A few miles away, there are pelicans flying "free as a bird" with no oil on them. Not a single photo of them. And more than 10,000 barrels of the spilled oil are being recovered by BP daily with no photos at all; vessels are skimming oil near the spill, and no photos. And the federal government has yet to grant exception to the Jones Act that is preventing foreign vessels ready to skim oil from getting closer to shore to prevent more serious damage which would, incidentally, help save a lot of pelicans. No wonder BP believed it had to surrender to the president.
You don't have to be paranoid to suspect the president (and many in the media) of ulterior motives, a hidden agenda. If you can get enough people to hate the oil companies, you might get the cap-and-trade bill passed. By the time they regret such hasty action, it will be too late to undo the damage. Cap-and-trade was given no chance for passage before the spill. The president pacified the environmental extremists by banning drilling in the Gulf for six months, adding to the rolls of the unemployed and increasing our dependence on foreign oil. To make the hidden agenda more believable, the president overreached by getting BP to agree to pay the lost wages incurred by workers who lost their jobs as the result of the president's six-month moratorium on drilling in the Gulf. The hidden agenda obviously includes getting cap-and-trade passed. It looks like "cap-and-trade, cap-and-trade, cap-and-trade" has displaced "jobs, jobs, jobs."
The president employed a similar tactic when he nationalized GM, violating the bankruptcy laws by denying bondholders their rightful control of the future of those enterprises, and he gave the bondholders' interest in GM to the unions instead, literally. He gave Chrysler to Fiat. The bondholders of both gave their consent, being afraid of having their asses kicked or having a boot on their necks.
When an executive uses threats to secure the "cooperation" of private businesses, we have a name for it: fascism. It is the kind of act we expect from Venezuela's Chávez, not from a president who swore to uphold the U.S. Constitution and its separation of powers. I believe the President's behavior is ultra vires and that he has committed an impeachable offense.

Storm is Brewing...Indicators
Citing what he believes are clear signs the economy is bouncing back from recession,Vice-President Joe Biden yesterday touted Barack Obama's 'stimulus package' and bailout of Wall Street.
The Obama administration's economic stimulus program has allocated $620 billion so far and created or saved at least 2.3 million jobs, Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday. "The Recovery Act is working," Biden said. "It's going to continue to work. It's not over."
Time for yet another fact-check on the pathological liars of the Obama Administration.
Banks are failing at double the rate of last year. During 2009, which the government claims was the peak of the recession, the total number of bank failures at this point in the year was 40. It is already 83 for this year. As losses have mounted on loans made for commercial property and development, the growing bank failures have sapped billions of dollars out of the deposit insurance fund. It fell into the red last year, and its deficit stood at $20.7 billion as of March 31. Yet the FDIC is running ads on radio stations across the country attempting to scare people away from keeping their savings at home and making the wildly erroneous and reckless assertion that as long as the FDIC insures bank accounts they can never fail, no matter what. That statement is a bare-faced lie.
The FDIC depends on bank fees and taxpayers to insure deposits in banks. So, what if banks continue to fail? Where will the money come from to 'cover' bank accounts? A taxpayers bailout? Such a notion is also ludicrous when the U.S. is in debt by over 13 TRILLION dollars, and when one adds in unfunded liabilities, that debt is actually 109 trillion. usdebtclock
If the U.S. were to sell every single asset we have--land, homes, businesses, everything, the total value would be roughly 50 trillion. Thus, we are in debt at the rate of DOUBLE the amount of our entire value.
In addition, the number of jobs the Obama Administration claims it has 'saved or created' includes multiple thousands of temporary jobs, such as census workers, who will be out of work very shortly. The private sector is clearly NOT rebounding when it comes to job creation.
One more dire indicator of continued economic distress is the rate of home loan defaults and foreclosures. The number of homes repossessed during April is at an all-time high of 92,432. That is a 45% increase over April 2009. If repossessions continue at this pace, more than 1.1 million homes will be lost in 2010. About one in four U.S. homeowners is underwater and 5 million of those borrowers owe mortgage debt that exceeds their property values by 25% or more. The total of negative equity in these deeply underwater borrowers is a whopping $655 billion.
These various factors add up to one simple, sobering truth--the economy is not on the rebound, and the Obama Administration and the Democrat-controlled Congress (which has been in Democrat hands since 2006) can take little comfort in what that means for the upcoming midterm elections in November....but alot can happen between now and then...are you prepared?

Opportunity to stop the Obama-EPA power grab
Certain members in Congress
are challenging the aggressive encroachment of Obama's
statist tentacles by introducing a resolution (SJ Res. 26)
to disapprove the EPA's over-reaching actions. This
resolution would block the EPA from imposing the Obama
carbon scheme.
Sen. Murkowski has pledged that the Senate will vote on
this issue, likely before the end of the month. That
means citizens have just a few weeks at most to let
their voices be heard.
Clearly, Obama is using the EPA to force Congress to act.
If the EPA ruling stands, Obama wins either way. Through
the EPA or Congress, another sector of the economy will
fall under the control of the Obama administration.
Starting in July 2011, new sources of at least 100,000 tons of greenhouse gases a year and any existing plants that increase emissions by 75,000 tons will have to seek permits, the agency said.
In the first two years, the E.P.A. expects the rule to affect about 15,550 sources, including coal-fired plants, refineries, cement manufacturers, solid waste landfills and other large polluters.
Last fall the E.P.A. had indicated that the bar would be set at 25,000 tons a year, which would have imposed the permit requirement on smaller entities like family farms and large apartment buildings. Once the DOOR is opened, the threat of EPA's over-reaching actions is endless.

US Land Off Limits to Americans...
The Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and 3,500 acres consisting of a 80 miles stretch along the southern Arizona and the Mexican border is closed to U.S. citizens due to increased violence in the region.
This really isn't news. It was closed in October 2006 "due to human safety concerns," the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Wednesday in response to news reports on the closure.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials have warned visitors in Arizona to beware of heavily armed drug smugglers and human traffickers.
"The situation in this zone has reached a point where continued public use of the area is not prudent," said refuge manager Mitch Ellis.
The refuge, that is more like a people eroded dump, has been adversely affected by the increase in drug smugglers, illegal activity and surveillance, which makes it dangerous for Americans to visit....why would you?
Signs have been posted warning Americans not to cross into the closed off territory south of Interstate 8. Arizona needs more resources to help scale back the violence caused by the drug cartels.
We need action! It’s shameful that we, as the most powerful nation on Earth, … can’t even secure our own border and protect our nation. If North Korea, Iraq, China or any other country was invading the USA by thousands a day, armed with guns and willing to kill....things would be much different. Why aren't they today?

Agriculture Needs Your Support...Now
Agriculture's silent crisis:
We should prepare for hard times. All forcasts for America are not good. The political face has changed, the government is taking over the private sector and people in power are creating more policy offered by ‘experts,’ many of whom are direct descendants of 19th century snake oil salesmen or are gorelike crazy scientists or are old 60's radicals- with agendas.
We can no longer let the treehuggers and uneducated liberals sway policies that restrict production and create lasting impact on how US agriculture has provided cheap food for it's citizens for centuries.
We no longer have the luxury of picking between animal rights and meat production. We don't have the luxury of choosing between minnows and California farmers.
We no longer have the luxury of investing in years of 'research' before we move forward on every issue... unless it is CapandTrade or Open Borders with little care to long range effects.
We no longer have the luxury of trusting the education of our children to school systems who indoctrinate.
We no longer have the luxury of providing health care for those who will not work to better themselves.
We no longer have the luxury of ignoring how other countries are cheating in international trade and just calling it laissez faire.
We don't have the luxury of not building nuclear energy plants or restricting energy reserves for the future, our future is now.
We don't have the luxury of pretending wolves don't stalk and eat little children and livestock. We don't have the luxury any more to pretend sharks don't deplete fish stocks. We don't have the luxury to pretend bears don't break into homes and kill people.
We don't have the luxury of trying to have the omlette without breaking the egg, or that butchering hurts.
We don't have the luxury to trust elected officials, the mainstream or free press, bonds with other countries, or the judicial system.
A safe and productive America is one that has mines, steel mills, meat production, grain in storage, oil wells, a strong military and honest politicians.
To cry that the sky is falling and that our country is Broke, then continue proposing protectionist measures (economic, political and social), will not only NOT reverse the trend of where we are headed, but most likely make things worse. We can't shut down all offshore oil production to spank the one that leaked, instead we should look to why they have to go so far out in the first place. Extracting oil on land is far safer and cheaper to produce, so I hope the environmental wackos like the tradgedy they created...it's not the method or blowout preventers or uncharted method of cleanup, it's Why do they need to be out there in the first place??
Fuel makes the world go around and the US stable....the supply and cost of fuel is detrimental to all aspects of everything we do or consume.
The mood in the country is alarmist and reactionary, but those in agriculture have always responsed with adaptibility and attitude of roll with the punches, so-to-speak. Yes, we need to be ready to accept and adapt to any change, like it or not. The problem lies with how the People will adapt to less food on the grocery shelves. The big question, and one that history offers, has varied answers. Without low energy costs, less food will be produced or the food prices "will neccesarily skyrocket". For every action politicians and environmental extremists take, there is a reaction. These people with curious ideas about the place of modern agriculture, present liberal ideas that have little to do with the realities of making a living on a ranch or a farm. People who live in the cities better wake up. They have the voting power to protect their food source. Urban districts are loaded with big voting blocks and big money, they can do massive damage or collectively get behind the family farm. If city-people want to pick a cause to get behind, it should be the forgotton ones in agriculture. You have to know who 'really' butters your bread. Obama and his ilk will have you believe in redistribution of wealth. I say, he's not talking about $$$, he's talking about food/welfare.... and when there is a shortage of good food, 'everyone' no matter your status, will be in the same boat.
But let's not be so foolish as to expect we can keep production agriculture as it has been. Those days are over. Those in DC want a Modern Agriculture. Modern agriculture is big business. It has to be in order to feed a rapidly growing world population. They want to Increase Exports to have a bigger stake in the Global Economy and to pay off their tremendous foreign debt. Today Obama sent 400 million to Gaza...on top of millions to Haiti. Where's that money come from? I say, we need to keep our OWN people fed first. Paying off national debt with exports is not the ahh hahh solution. Exports should be the leftovers or the surplus of a good year, not the target.
And for you treehuggers I say this, Corporate Agriculture is the only part of the industry that needs regulation. They have no love of the land and it's ecosystems. It's all about the 'profit' and they can pick up and leave to other states and even other countries, if the bottom lines can be increased. American farmers are 'true' environmentalists and protect the land that they 'own'. And to Washington I say, cancel every usda program and all the ag subsidies, especially the ones that ration production. You can have them all...in return set a 'fixed price' for off-road fuel used for agriculture production. That's it. Mother nature should be the only storm to worry about, not policies set in DC. Government needs to get out of small agriculture just as they need to butt the hell out of ALL small business. The private sector is America's saving grace and when it is forgotton for the 'global good', there goes America.

So, you city dwellers, if the economy crashes, don't you be thinking on day tripping to the country for your veggies. We are not the fat-cats or the rich ready to distribute to the rich...it doesn't work that way, no more than it works to go to an oil rig to get gas for your car.
Support agriculture by voting for small Government and 'believe' in the Constitution as written.
As prominent Democrat James Carville said last week, "..., the political stupidity [of this administration] is unbelievable!"
Democrats now have permission to abandon partylines and vote common sense.
Don't give up. Instead vote for sanity in November and food on your plate in the near future.

Support agriculture by voting for small Government and 'believe' in the Constitution as written.

Democrats now have permission to abandon partylines and vote common sense.

A Civil Uprising is Brewing
A Nation’s well-being is the Rationale for Resignations or IMPEACHMENT...
President Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address, “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.” Being a representative republic, not a democracy, “rising up” means other than revolution by means of arms. The people must “rise up” from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, death, elections, and impeachment.
The oath of office is simple and reads: “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
Sadly, we have seen the Obama and progressive Democrats violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant and some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder.
The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution, which granted with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.

It is now and each day that these public servants must put the citizen’s interests above self-interest by resigning immediately. Our so-called Representatives and Senators are more interested in party loyalty than performing their duties. So, do not expect them to resign en masse or be impeached. Therefore the “people” must decide. A civil uprising is brewing. We now must call for the immediate resignation of Barry Soetero (AKA President Barack Hussein Obama) …..based on Incompetence, Deceit, Fraud, Corruption, Dishonesty and Violation of the US Oath of Office and the Constitution.
And a call for a National Petition for new elections to select the next President of the United States of America must be initiated. We can wait no longer for a traditional change of Power and New Government.

Firearms Freedom Act; Nullification
6/1/2010, Alaska Governor Sean Parnell signed House Bill 186 (HB186), the Firearms Freedom Act. It passed the House by a vote of 32-7 and the Senate by a vote of 18-1. Alaska now joins Montana, Tennessee, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho, and Arizona as the eighth state to have passed the act into law.
The United States Constitution gives Congress the authority to regulate Interstate Commerce between the states and 18 USC 922 makes it unlawful for any person not licensed as a manufacturer or dealer in firearms to engage in the business of manufacturing or dealing in firearms. Collectively, the Interstate Commerce Clause and 18 USC 922 are used by the federal goverenment as a means to regulate firearms.
The Alaska Firearms Freedom Act addresses this by exempting firearms, firearm accessories, and ammunition manufactured and retained in the state from all federal firearm control laws including registration, as firearms that meet these criteria cannot be regulated by the federal government because they have not traveled in interstate commerce.
In a prepared statement, the Act’s sponsor, Representative Mike Kelly said: “The Alaska Firearms Freedom Act frees Alaskans from overly-bureaucratic and restrictive federal firearm regulation, and allows our state to assume the responsibility for regulation. The Interstate Commerce Clause is used by the federal government to regulate firearms that cross state borders. The Alaska Firearms Freedom Act makes it clear that Alaskans will be responsible for firearms that are made in Alaska, for use in Alaska, and have ‘Made in Alaska’ stamped on them.”
The principle behind such legislation is nullification, which has a long history in the American tradition. When a state ‘nullifies’ a federal law, it is proclaiming that the law in question is void and inoperative, or ‘non-effective,’ within the boundaries of that state; or, in other words, not a law as far as the state is concerned. Implied in such legislation is that the state apparatus will enforce the act against all violations – in order to protect the liberty of the state’s citizens.
The Tenth Amendment:"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Our National Debt Passes $13 Trillion--90% of GDP
For the first time in our history, the U.S. National Debt has now reached $13 Trillion and there is no stopping in sight.
The Obama Administration and the crazies that control Washington D.C. have proven they do not care about the future of our country and only care about getting their wacko agenda passed through Congress. They brush aside the idea that the United States will bankrupt, and instead they fatten their check book from contributions that will keep them in office and retain their power hold over the American people...
The House and Senate "spendulous" bills this last week include:
--$23 billion in a public school teacher bailout
--Extension of unemployment benefits through November
--Billions of dollars for more Medicare funding(doc fix)
--$4 billion in foreign aid to Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan
--$5.1 billion for Haiti
--$1.7 billion for police and firefighters
--$5.7 billion for Pell Grants
All we citizens can do is Say "NO" to unfunded spending, but then the DEMS aren't listening...they are just hellbent on bringing the USA and us down to the level of the other big nations that are in big,BIG,big financial trouble. The main plan is to enter into the global Union of the new world order on an equally fubared statis with no longer a 'free choice'...or Constitution either.

I watched the flag pass by one day. It fluttered in the breeze.
A young Marine saluted it,
and then he stood at ease.
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud,
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him
Had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil?
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?
No, freedom isn't free.
I heard the sound of TAPS one night,
When everything was still
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times
That TAPS had meant "Amen,"
When a flag had draped a coffin
Of a brother or a friend.
I thought of all the children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard
At the bottom of the sea
Of unmarked graves in Arlington.
No, freedom isn't free

NOT IN EPA'S JOB DESCRIPTION

This week, the U.S. Senate is expected to vote on a “resolution of disapproval,” sponsored by Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, to stop the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from “enacting” controversial global warming policies through the regulatory back door.
The importance of this vote is difficult to exaggerate. Nothing less than the integrity of our constitutional system of separated powers and democratic accountability hangs in the balance.
The Murkowski resolution would overturn the EPA’s “endangerment finding,” a December 2009 rulemaking in which the agency concluded that greenhouse gas emissions endanger public health and welfare. The endangerment finding is both trigger and precedent for sweeping policy changes that Congress never approved. America could end up with a regulatory regime more costly and intrusive than any climate bill or treaty the Senate has declined to pass or ratify, yet without people’s representatives ever voting on it.
Unless stopped, the EPA will be in a position to determine the stringency of fuel economy standards for the auto industry, set climate policy for the nation, and even amend the Clean Air Act — powers never delegated to the agency by Congress.
The Murkowski resolution puts a simple question squarely before the Senate: Who shall make climate policy? Her position is simply that climate policy is too important to be made by non-elected bureaucrats.
By issuing an endangerment finding, the EPA will deal itself into a position to control the economy — both mobile and stationary sources — for climate change purposes. Yet the Clean Air Act gives the EPA no such authority. Congress enacted the Clean Air Act in 1970, decades before global warming was even a topic of congressional debate. That is why phrases like “greenhouse gas,” “greenhouse effect,” and “global climate change” appear nowhere in the statute.
Liberals know that regulatory zealotry has a long history of trampling on constitutional principle, and many lawmakers would simply prefer to let the non-elected bureaucrats at the EPA take the heat for “enacting” costly climate policies.
Who shall make climate policy — lawmakers who must answer to the people at the ballot box OR politically unaccountable bureaucrats, trial lawyers, and activist judges appointed for life?

Small Farm and pure economic protectionism
Every day in the United States, close to 3,000 acres of productive farmland are lost to development. Adapting to survive, many farmers have embraced a new paradigm that focuses on agricultural models custom-fit to changing markets and filling local niche markets with specialty produce and value-added products. The movement seems to be working.
Nearly 300,000 new farms have begun operations since 2002, according to recent Agricultural Census data. Compared with all farms nationwide, these new arrivals tend to have more diversified production, fewer acres, lower total-dollar sales and operators who also work off-farm. Most tend to be family run and do not need the so-called migrant worker. Interestingly, many of these operations are located in decidedly urban and suburban areas.
“All agriculture cannot serve niche markets,” says Karen McAdams, North Carolina State University agricultural service extension agent, “but there are many potential opportunities for farmers to take advantage of local urban markets and the increased demand for local foods.”
Nationally, there is a movement toward consuming locally raised foods. More than eight in 10 consumers (85 percent) say they trust smaller-scale family farms to produce safe, nutritious food. It's fresh, maybe cheaper and healthier, right?
So, why are the local, state or federal governments making laws and mandates about FOOD? They pay their taxes so, what's the problem here?
(The ordinance seems to me to be patently unconstitutional, as it is pure economic protectionism.)
Small business is and always will be the strength of America. This is about competition and control. You see it everywhere. Big businesses do whatever they can to compete and get a bigger piece of the pie. They will put up and maintain whatever barriers to entry into a share of their market. Make no mistake, big local businesses are conspiring with local government to restrict consumer choice in your hometown. Right now.
The competion between downtown grocery chains and WalMart is driven by the same thing. It's just that WalMart types offer local government such a huge tax revenue stream that they can get away with things that small local businesses can't. They also have been subsidized by local government through land taxes, so they have a vested interest in their success.
But small businesses are still the most important engine of growth, even more so in tough times when growth is hard to come by. Consider any 'future event' that would cause nationwide or statewide crippling of the flow of goods to stock these big-box stores. If they are the only show in town, the common good of the region is effected equally. Having choices and varied resources to buy local is to everyone's benefit and shame on the public officials that would want to hamper that growth.
And it's a shame to see what rights and liberties the governments of all sizes are willing to sacrifice for what they say is for the common good. Just how can restricting consumer choice ever be for the common good? For the common good of competing businesses--maybe.

It's hard to fathom how America's elected Congressional leaders, those who swore to uphold the Constitution and to protect the nation, are prepared to give it away for some perceived short-term political gain, if that. The front man for globalist corporations who currently occupies the White House is allowing Mexico City to dictate America's immigration policy, while few in his party object. Does anyone think that Vicente Fox cares about what happens to America? He sees the United States as a full refrigerator and he is hungry, very hungry.
Why do American public officials value so little what thousands have fought and died to protect? A foreign power has stated its plans to conquer this nation by demographic warfare, but in Washington, apparently no one cares.

What happens when you TAX the masses.....
.....they get creative.
Politicians make the mistake of not hearing the people, they spend the peoples money, and then they increase taxes.
For those who have or think they have alot of money, adjusting will be a slow, slow painful process.
The so-called middle class have been adjusting for quite some time.
The Prepared have a much different approach and that is to Unplug from the system.
No matter, sooner or later, Vat or Flat, high taxes will change the profile and proclivities of the American people.
Americans by nature are pretty savvy, creative and inventive people. We could all just not pay taxes period and teach them a big lesson, because afterall, they can't put us ALL in jail, right? Nah... but there are options that hit politicians and municipalities in the pocket book and it's also completely legal and ethical.
* They say you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, so if you are living a lifestyle that allows you to work for minimum wage, then do it. Remember it's something like 40% of Americans who actually pay taxes in this country...Become one of the 60% who don't, and increase those numbers to 80% or more. If you are financially stable then work less whenever you possibly can and stay home.
* Drive as little as possible so you don't pay as much in fuel taxes.(Store some fuel,if you can,before the price goes up). If you can ride a bike, do it...not to go green, but to hit them in the pocket book. Walk more.
* Do you need that new TV, that new video, or that new whatever toy? Don't buy it. Avoid the sales tax every way that you can. Remember after 9/11 Bush told us to go out and spend our money for the economy? What good did that do for us? Hit them in the pocket book and refuse to contribute to anything that generates sales tax revenue. Shop at garage sales whenever possible..that's how you can help your local economy and keep money flowing to your friends and neighbors who need it most. Buy from them, not the big chain stores, tax free.
* Food. Many states impose sales tax on food...don't contribute. Grow your own, Can your own, Store your own. Keep the money at home. Start a garden or go to farmers markets. Barter with neighbors.
Shop LOCAL and support local. At least the taxes that do get paid stay local. Then there's classifieds, craigslist, internet sites, ebay and other taxfree outlets.
* Don't die. If you don't want your family to share your assets with the Gov's death tax, distribute or enjoy it now.
* Family - Staycations or local weekend outings...spend time with your family. Family fun comes cheap with local parades & backyard BBQ's, Arts in the Park and festivals, camping or day hikes. Become a tourist in your own state, just do it in ways that don't contribute to the tax base.
* Quit drinking if you can...or make your own. As far as I know you can legally make wine or brew your own beer most places in this country. Remember, don't let them get the tax revenue.
Quit smoking if you possibly can. (there's a reason they don't want to outright ban tobacco...it makes them too much tax money)
* If you can, live small, rent or think RV lifestyle. Don't pay the outrageous property taxes. If you feel the need to own a home, then own as cheap and small of a home as possible...they assess taxes based on property value. If you do intend to keep your home and plan to never sell, then do whatever you legally and ethically can to drive your property value down. Do you really need that addition or even fresh coat of paint? The inside can be as luxurious as possible but the exterior should be modest and plain....sound counter productive? I think not, not if it saves you money. Housing has gone down in value from 5 years ago, so have your property assessment readjusted at courthouse.
* Do you have extra vehicles that don't get used much? Boats, atv's, snowmobiles,etc. If you can sell them, then do, or at least park them and let the tags expire. Vehicle registrations are a big tax hole. Drive older cars especially if you live in a state that bases registration costs on the value of the car.
* Credit cards. Cut them up. Pay cash. Don't let the credit card companies profiteer off you. Get your finances off the grid so Federal Government can't get MORE income taxes.
* Utilities? Your call, since you will be spending more time at home, so enjoy. Phone and cable? Just look at that statement and see all the taxes added to the bottom line. Maybe you can do away with the landline and just use your cell phone.
When you start to pay attention to ALL the taxes, you will see that you have a bigger stake in the decision of VAT vs. Flat tax.
Unplug yourself from the system, at least as much as you possibly can, because you and everyone else will be doing it SOON anyway. Don't feed their system...starve it. It will suffer and they'll be forced to make real change.
