OBAMA'S KATRINA...showing his stuff!

The 100 year Flood in New England(Worst Flooding in 200 Yrs), with displacement of people and the destruction of infrastructure, homes and businesses is as unexpected devastating as Katrina, but where's FEMA??

And where's the LameStream Media with all the unfair retoric on the blindeye the President is giving this? He overflew the disaster area (one of the main charges about what Bush did during the Katrina disaster) and what is his Fema administrator doing? Basking in the sunny glow of Orlando, Florida. So where is the uproar from the left?

More attention and compassion has been shown foreigners in Haiti...please, these are middleclass Americans! Where's the rallying cry to send donations? Do only the minorities in the slums and prior flood-riddled locations like New Orleans get our full attention? Just like the floods in Iowa, where the people and farmers had the gumption to adjust and make the best of a bad situation, does NOT mean they should not get our full humanitarian effort. A 'peoples' ecomomic status should not dictate the resources of our government to step in and give aide. Do ONLY the helpless, weak and poor have the 'back' of our government or is the government suppose to be 'blind' and fair when it comes to it's citizens? Hope and Change, but only for a certain 'class'?

Get used to this folks – this is that fundamental change that Obama kept promising. We see more and more examples of taking from the Haves to give to the Havenots and this is just a blatent in your face showing of the balance not being dealt and the kinds of disasters and dispair that will be ignored by not just the left press, but by the President himself. The worst part is that even though this country was warned, people thought it was just fear mongering. Get yourself prepared people, no matter where you live. If any devastation or big event happens to you and yours, you cannot count on anyone to come to your aide. We now know the blindeye will not be watching or caring.

Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives!

Going Rouge, Citizen Style

Show up, stand up and be heard, or be herded. There are no other choices. And if you don't speak out, it may well be the last time you get the chance. Today, 50% said the Prez should not seek re-election, 49% said he should. What in God's name does it take for some of you people to get mad? If the last few months haven't been enough, then your freedom may already be lost. Are you on alert and just worried about 'some' of the issues, but not all? Everyone has a story of how government has affected them, good or bad. Everyone can get involved in conversations at the watercooler or in the coffee shop, but do you stop at some point because you lack rebutal or fall short of details of the day? In that case, it's still your duty to stir yourself to action. You must take the timeout of whatever is going on in your busy lives to get yourselves 'up to speed' on what is going on.

If you have conservative beliefs and enjoy life without big brother telling you what your next move is, then listen or tivo Fox. They are the only network to give FAIR and unbiased news. If you hug trees, think your Unions are looking out for you, believe in letting schools raise your children, love limited healthcare and think it is OK for the IRS to fine or jail you, then continue to listen to the liberals on CNN,NBC,MSNBC,CBS and the like. Old Times, Herold and Gazette newspapers are just as bad. Get online and seek current events and you will get Both sides of any story. Get registered to vote, get educated on the candidates and become an active participant in whatever direction the future may bring to us all as Americans. We as a free people are at the crossroads or tipping point of what this country will become and what the days ahead will be for us now, our children and future generations. Personally, I am sick of being told I should feel guilty for making a good (not wealthy by any means)living and that because I work hard to succeed, I should feel obligated to share with those who don't...sorry, that's just unAmerican.

Get active, educated and be the leader of the herd or forever be herded. It's not too late. Today is your chance to decide. The 'Change' we all hoped for to come out of Washington, was less corruption, less spending and a smarter better secure country. It's NOT what we have been getting and now is the time to 'Go Rouge' and make the 'Changes' ourselves to begin to take back our government in November. Waiting for someone else to do it for you will only assure you of freedom lost. And that is not and has never been the America and the American people I've come to know.

When is Grandfathering a rip off?

Remember this?

“If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan, period,” he declared in a speech to the American Medical Association last June. “No one will take it away, no matter what.”

While a number of provisions in the existing House and Senate health care bills would undermine that pledge, the proposal Obama unveiled Monday takes a sledgehammer to it.

The Senate bill has a measure to protect so-called “grandfathered plans,” which would allow policy holders to maintain coverage in plans that may not abide by all of the requirements imposed on new individual plans offered on the government-run exchanges.

But Obama’s new proposal changes all of that. Here’s how the White House explains the new provisions:

The Senate bill includes a “grandfather” policy that allows people who like their current coverage, to keep it. The President’s Proposal adds certain important consumer protections to these “grandfathered” plans. Within months of legislation being enacted, it requires plans to cover adult dependents up to age 26, prohibits rescissions, mandates that plans have a stronger appeals process, and requires State insurance authorities to conduct annual rate review, backed up by the oversight of the HHS Secretary. When the exchanges begin in 2014, the President’s Proposal adds new protections that prohibit all annual and lifetime limits, ban pre-existing condition exclusions, and prohibit discrimination in favor of highly compensated individuals. Beginning in 2018, the President’s Proposal requires “grandfathered” plans to cover proven preventive services with no cost sharing.

YADA, YaDa, yaDAH....

All of the new requirements proposed by Obama would increase premiums, and by definition, alter the composition of those insurance plans. The White House would argue that it is changing the policies for the better.

But the entire point of having “grandfathered plans” was to protect a class of policies from changes imposed by the new legislation. Put another way, the provision to allow people to keep their “grandfathered plans” is rendered meaningless when the federal government is dictating what is in them.

LOOKING forward to CSpan's coverage of the Obama dog and pony show. The will of the people has been made positively clear for the last year, so we will see where that gets us....and who is on board to say NO to his face and shatter his wet dream. Should be good watchin'!

9/12 Tea Movement -DO YOU HEAR US NOW!

The Tea Party Movement went to Capitol Hill today, and although we're still awaiting an official estimate from park police, several news agencies are reporting the crowd at 2 MILLION! Contrast that with the so-called "Million Man March" which had about 400,000 people. If the 2 million figure is correct, it breaks the largest crowd record ever in Washington, DC. Ironically, the Obama inauguration drew about 1.8 million people less than 8 months ago.

“As far as I know this is the largest gathering of fiscal conservatives in history,” said FreedomWorks spokesman Adam Brandon.

Even The New York Times is acknowledging the enormous rally of patriotic Americans denouncing Obama's and the Democrats' big government solutions and totalitarian policies, although they are definitely lowballing the crowd size.
Tens of thousands of people from across the country arrived here Saturday to demonstrate against what they say is an ever-expanding intrusion of government in their lives in a culmination of a summer-long season of protests that began with an opposition to health care and grew into a broader dissatisfaction with Washington.

A sea of people stretched along Pennsylvania Avenue from the Capitol to the White House on a cloudy and cool day, with scores of hand-written signs telling of their frustration. They sang verse after verse of patriotic songs like “God Bless America,” even as others shouted angry criticisms of President Obama and Congress.

“I want Congress to be afraid,” said Keldon Clapp, 45, an unemployed marketing representative who recently moved to Tennessee from Connecticut after losing his job. “Like everyone else here, I want them to know that we’re watching what they’re doing. And they do work for us.”

As Mr. Obama traveled to Minnesota on Saturday to rally support for his health care plan, he flew over the crowd in Marine One. The helicopter could be seen flying overhead as the demonstrators made their way toward Capitol Hill from downtown Washington.
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) spoke at the rally, "The president has warned us if we disagree with him he's going to call us out. Well, Mr. President, we are out."

Our last TRUE 4th of July Celebration

As we prepare to celebrate our Independence this 4th of July, please read this article from the Canadian Free Press. This is a great article...the citizens of the world are looking to the CITIZENS of these United States to take our country back.

Today as main-street Americans muster the kind of spirit needed to celebrate July 4th, their country teeters on an engineered economic collapse. As they prepare for America’s Big Day, indignities are hurled at them, not just from a vociferous enemy across the world, but from an anti-American White House.

Even as Americans worry about losing their homes and jobs, information overload has become the bewildering status quo. The increasing asked, “What can we do?” is never answered.

Everyone’s “talking at Americans”. Talking heads are talking at Americans from 24-hour television networks. Radio talk show hosts are talking at Americans. Internet writers are talking at Americans. Incoming emails have never been so brisk.

As everyone “talks at” Americans, their president is acting out. Never has a President had full Majority in his House and Senate and the sheep to follow him.

Almost every day since November 4, 2008 Americans have heard about yet another Obama atrocity, each one bolder and more shameful than the one before.

Obama, or whomever this Agent of Change really is, seems in a hurry to present a battered, and humiliated America back to the faceless masters he serves.

Opinion is coming at John Q. Public from every direction. They are as plentiful as the grains of sand in the Arabian Desert, some qualified, some sincere and heartfelt, some not, many confusing.

Let this July 4th be the time to tune out on the broken record of Obama. Replace all the talk of Obama with the resolve to bring American back from the brink, a time to replace talk with action.

Unless Obama brings to a halt his rampage over America, it is time for Americans to find the way out of the dark; time to take their country back, and time to stop being the tax base of Congress megalomaniacs.

As Americans celebrate this Independence Day, they know they are not the only people whose country is under threat, not the only people whose fight for survival is being carried out in real time.

America will find the way out of the dark and into the light of a new day. And when the way out is found, it won’t come from the media, or any of the talking heads. It will come from the indomitable spirit carried for centuries in the hearts of true patriots.

PRESS

Seems like the Press is getting feisty! CBS even!

Gibbs is such a 'High Almighty Drip' and this chain of connection shows exactly the 'untouchable' ascendant attitude of the White House! You must see this!

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/07/01/cbs_helen_thomas_challenge_gibbs_on_controlled_town_hall_meeting.html

Thomas told Gibbs that no other White House tried to put this much control over media coverage, and slammed him for doing so despite the administration’s calls for “openness and transparency.”

“But Thomas saved her biggest quote for afterward, as she told CNS News that not even Richard Nixon had tried to control the media this way. Thomas not only put the Nixon administration on a higher ground than Obama in this area, she didn’t even mention George W. Bush as part of it.”

Thomas’ words are sweet music to the ears of patriots whom have been pointing out Obama’s corruption since January 20.

Happy Independence Day, Helen!
