Do we really need to have a reason not to let any ethnic, religious,or political group to use our own constitution to manipulate our laws vs. common sense to erect a glareing 'in your face' monument to violence against the very principals we are as AMERICANS?
Our President refuses to acknowledge what is so painfully obvious to the rest of America, we who clearly remember the horror of 9-11, must stand up and put an end to this madness by collectively saying "NO!" to the
Islamic "victory" mosque at Ground Zero.
All that said....think of this. America and being proud to be an American is at stake. There has been a constant tearing down. dumbing down and weakinging of 'Patriotism' for America. It's a shame that we have to wait every 4 years to get excited about the Olympics to feel all warm & fuzzy about how great America is. Our kids question when it is appropriate to place their hands over their hearts to pledge or to fold their hands to pray, yet we bend over backwards to accommidate political radicals and Imams. Illegal aliens and those who wish to give them amnesty are causing further means to mutilate, corrode, shatter, and abrade true Patriotism and Pride of all Americans.

$26.1 billion bailout - more distruction

Why is Congress demanding that governors and mayors fire teachers, cops and firefighters before cutting ridiculous spending like this:
$120,000,000 spent on state-run liquor stores - Washington State
$39,608,662 spent on neighborhood & recreational services - Newark, New Jersey
$7,000,000 spent on museums - Oakland, California
$1,607,367 spent on awards and prizes at county fairs - Illinois
$1,000,000 spent on mural art - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
$750,000 spent on the opera house - Baltimore, Maryland
This week Speaker Pelosi has called the House of Representatives back to Congress. The intent is to spend another $26.1 Billion.
The Porkulus II: what it does....
Forces states to take bailout dollars, bypassing Governors who refuse the money, and forbidding them from making necessary budget cuts.
Gives teachers unions roughly $50 - $100 million through trickle-down.
Will increase the deficit by $12.6 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
Will result in a permanent tax increase of $9.7 billion for U.S. multinational companies - increasing the cost of doing business and risking jobs during the recession. (Interestingly, the revenue from these same tax increases have already been spent...twice, in two other pieces of legislation!)
The fact is, the federal government cannot afford to bailout states who refuse to cut back spending. In case Nancy Pelosi forgot, the American people still fund the federal government. If states can't afford it, neither can the federal government. Bailing out states and extending failed stimulus programs only perpetuates states' reliance on the federal government.
What sucks...is there is nothing we can do about it. Guess what? No amount of good conservative candidates can fix this mess...and if they try, they will be the most hated people on earth for reining in, making big cuts and depriving these bloodsuckers who are not willing to give up these programs and entitlements. Hate to say it....a crash and collapse will be easier to endure than living with the long term effects of what Dems have done to America in just the last 2 years.

What American Dream?

One surely wonders these days when these people will ever awaken from their long slumber to realize that their once sought after “American Dream” has turned into an “American Nightmare”, all occurring as these same people neglected to remember one of the most time-honored and fundamental facts of human existence, that the future for our children rests in what we do today, and, perhaps, best articulated by the great American Revolutionary War Patriot Thomas Paine who said,
“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.”

We might not last until Elections in NOV

The Economy and just about any other topic that is Headlining could erupt, distrupt or distruct at any time. US Treasurer, Tim Geithner described last week that our country can no longer be the one others look out to. " USA will no longer drive world economic growth", we can no longer consider the USA as the champion for every cause or the country with political clout. We live in a very fragile state and tomorrow could bring the one trigger that could send us over the edge.
Until recently, most people in the United States of America did not believe that President Obama's mission was actually to destroy our country.
If we are to survive as a nation and a people—or simply survive at all—we will have to rebuild it almost from the ground up, collapse or not. In order to do so, we will have to rid ourselves of the Marxist traitors to this country who now inhabit and infest the All 3, Judicial, Congressional and Executive branches of government in Washington DC and many of our State elected offices. If we are to survive and, again, begin to live, we must never allow an anti-human Marxist and/or Maoist contingent to enter any form of government—let alone the office of president.
The US Declaration of Independence—our nation’s first founding document—tells us what is required of We-the-People.
It reads in part: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to SECURE these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”
Of particular significance is the last sentence which I reiterate:

We can either sit back and let the progressive liberals write a new Declaration of Independence or Stand UP and demand we defer to the 'original' that tells us what we must now do.
We-the-People have reached the point of making a decision to live under a now openly spoken-about-by-Obama tyranny or fight—once again—for the right to be free men and women.
As we are being herded more and more every day into the fenced in Obama dictatorship, you—WE—must now make our choice. But, before you make your decision please remember this: To do nothing is to submit. We either choose to live in true freedom or the squalor Obama has planned for us.

Agriculture Needs Your Support...Now
Agriculture's silent crisis:
We should prepare for hard times. All forcasts for America are not good. The political face has changed, the government is taking over the private sector and people in power are creating more policy offered by ‘experts,’ many of whom are direct descendants of 19th century snake oil salesmen or are gorelike crazy scientists or are old 60's radicals- with agendas.
We can no longer let the treehuggers and uneducated liberals sway policies that restrict production and create lasting impact on how US agriculture has provided cheap food for it's citizens for centuries.
We no longer have the luxury of picking between animal rights and meat production. We don't have the luxury of choosing between minnows and California farmers.
We no longer have the luxury of investing in years of 'research' before we move forward on every issue... unless it is CapandTrade or Open Borders with little care to long range effects.
We no longer have the luxury of trusting the education of our children to school systems who indoctrinate.
We no longer have the luxury of providing health care for those who will not work to better themselves.
We no longer have the luxury of ignoring how other countries are cheating in international trade and just calling it laissez faire.
We don't have the luxury of not building nuclear energy plants or restricting energy reserves for the future, our future is now.
We don't have the luxury of pretending wolves don't stalk and eat little children and livestock. We don't have the luxury any more to pretend sharks don't deplete fish stocks. We don't have the luxury to pretend bears don't break into homes and kill people.
We don't have the luxury of trying to have the omlette without breaking the egg, or that butchering hurts.
We don't have the luxury to trust elected officials, the mainstream or free press, bonds with other countries, or the judicial system.
A safe and productive America is one that has mines, steel mills, meat production, grain in storage, oil wells, a strong military and honest politicians.
To cry that the sky is falling and that our country is Broke, then continue proposing protectionist measures (economic, political and social), will not only NOT reverse the trend of where we are headed, but most likely make things worse. We can't shut down all offshore oil production to spank the one that leaked, instead we should look to why they have to go so far out in the first place. Extracting oil on land is far safer and cheaper to produce, so I hope the environmental wackos like the tradgedy they created...it's not the method or blowout preventers or uncharted method of cleanup, it's Why do they need to be out there in the first place??
Fuel makes the world go around and the US stable....the supply and cost of fuel is detrimental to all aspects of everything we do or consume.
The mood in the country is alarmist and reactionary, but those in agriculture have always responsed with adaptibility and attitude of roll with the punches, so-to-speak. Yes, we need to be ready to accept and adapt to any change, like it or not. The problem lies with how the People will adapt to less food on the grocery shelves. The big question, and one that history offers, has varied answers. Without low energy costs, less food will be produced or the food prices "will neccesarily skyrocket". For every action politicians and environmental extremists take, there is a reaction. These people with curious ideas about the place of modern agriculture, present liberal ideas that have little to do with the realities of making a living on a ranch or a farm. People who live in the cities better wake up. They have the voting power to protect their food source. Urban districts are loaded with big voting blocks and big money, they can do massive damage or collectively get behind the family farm. If city-people want to pick a cause to get behind, it should be the forgotton ones in agriculture. You have to know who 'really' butters your bread. Obama and his ilk will have you believe in redistribution of wealth. I say, he's not talking about $$$, he's talking about food/welfare.... and when there is a shortage of good food, 'everyone' no matter your status, will be in the same boat.
But let's not be so foolish as to expect we can keep production agriculture as it has been. Those days are over. Those in DC want a Modern Agriculture. Modern agriculture is big business. It has to be in order to feed a rapidly growing world population. They want to Increase Exports to have a bigger stake in the Global Economy and to pay off their tremendous foreign debt. Today Obama sent 400 million to Gaza...on top of millions to Haiti. Where's that money come from? I say, we need to keep our OWN people fed first. Paying off national debt with exports is not the ahh hahh solution. Exports should be the leftovers or the surplus of a good year, not the target.
And for you treehuggers I say this, Corporate Agriculture is the only part of the industry that needs regulation. They have no love of the land and it's ecosystems. It's all about the 'profit' and they can pick up and leave to other states and even other countries, if the bottom lines can be increased. American farmers are 'true' environmentalists and protect the land that they 'own'. And to Washington I say, cancel every usda program and all the ag subsidies, especially the ones that ration production. You can have them all...in return set a 'fixed price' for off-road fuel used for agriculture production. That's it. Mother nature should be the only storm to worry about, not policies set in DC. Government needs to get out of small agriculture just as they need to butt the hell out of ALL small business. The private sector is America's saving grace and when it is forgotton for the 'global good', there goes America.

“What I saw was a silent crisis in rural America. Too many of our small towns are struggling. Although they are some of the hardest working folks I know, rural Americans earn, on average, $11,000 less than their urban counterparts each year. And they are more likely to live in poverty."
So, you city dwellers, if the economy crashes, don't you be thinking on day tripping to the country for your veggies. We are not the fat-cats or the rich ready to distribute to the rich...it doesn't work that way, no more than it works to go to an oil rig to get gas for your car.
Support agriculture by voting for small Government and 'believe' in the Constitution as written.
As prominent Democrat James Carville said last week, "..., the political stupidity [of this administration] is unbelievable!"
Democrats now have permission to abandon partylines and vote common sense.
Don't give up. Instead vote for sanity in November and food on your plate in the near future.
(notice I didn't mention no or less 'Taxes' in this entire article...it was hard, but a good solution too)

A Civil Uprising is Brewing

A Nation’s well-being is the Rationale for Resignations or IMPEACHMENT...
President Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address, “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.” Being a representative republic, not a democracy, “rising up” means other than revolution by means of arms. The people must “rise up” from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, death, elections, and impeachment.
The oath of office is simple and reads: “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
Sadly, we have seen the Obama and progressive Democrats violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant and some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder.
The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution, which granted with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.

It is now and each day that these public servants must put the citizen’s interests above self-interest by resigning immediately. Our so-called Representatives and Senators are more interested in party loyalty than performing their duties. So, do not expect them to resign en masse or be impeached. Therefore the “people” must decide. A civil uprising is brewing. We now must call for the immediate resignation of Barry Soetero (AKA President Barack Hussein Obama) …..based on Incompetence, Deceit, Fraud, Corruption, Dishonesty and Violation of the US Oath of Office and the Constitution.
And a call for a National Petition for new elections to select the next President of the United States of America must be initiated. We can wait no longer for a traditional change of Power and New Government.

Mandatory Succession: Tossing failed states out of the Union

We don't need no stinking civil war, no treason trials or impeachment hearings to stop the progressive wave. Elections are not enough or soon enough. It may be high time to think the ‘unthinkable’ – that of downsizing our country into a more conservative, efficient, and Constitutionally-based nation of decent, hardworking, and patriotic Americans. There...I said it!
With only the approval of thirty-eight states – we can amend the Constitution of the United States. What this means is that we can toss out those states that are bankrupt – morally and financially – and save our “One Nation under God” by divesting ourselves of, say, California, New York, Oregon, Illinois, Wisconsin, and just about any other state that is broke and whose progressive slant is destroying our nation. And let's not forget: the District of Colombia. We can call for immediate elections with 60 day campaigns, meanwhile letting the States govern themselves under peaceful martial law of sorts, until a new constitutional Judicial, Legislative and Executive branches of These United States as opposed to singularly known as The United States, is seated.
Think of it folks. Do we really need California to pull our nation down? Is not tossing out Washington, D.C. a much more effective way of getting rid of all politicians en masse? Wouldn’t you just love to slice off the Progressive treehugging left coast and the blue-blooded North East? To stop this, the progressives would need to muster thirteen states to come to their rescue and I bet that they cannot come up with more than six or seven – tops. We the People can finally take our rightful – and responsible – place in the books of American history. We would be laying down the law that it is NOT alright to put your State in fiscal jeapardy by imposing radical progressive junk laws and taxes, then expect the rest of the responsible States to come to the rescue. No State is too BIG to fail either.
The most important part of this is that it is completely Constitutional unlike Obama buying General Motors on our credit or ramming nationalized healthcare down our throats. If we can add states, we can certainly remove them through a simple addendum to our Constitution. Who could stop us? Nancy Pelosi? Her state would be the first one tossed into the shitter. President Obama? Before his teleprompter queued the next sequence, he would be the sitting president of the progressive junkyard, trying his damndest to tax the few supporters he had left. His world would quickly die under social justice, endorsing abortions and social medicine, and allowing Islamic terrorists to run free.
Our nation “Of the people, by the people, and for the people” refounded upon “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” would become the beacon of Freedom as the rest of the worlds leaders will realize that we have finally decided to do something about our future. The Gulf and the Rockies (and Alaska) certainly have enough natural resources to fuel our growth. We would disband the EPA, the IRS, HHS, Dept of worthless Homeland Security, the FDA and our ties to the UN and most foreign treaties ...just to name a few. Every industry will set their own guidelines and mandates to be approved before Congress. Unions will be abolished. Banks will be localized. We would fully back our US Militaries home and abroad to step up our security. The Federal Reserve would be history.
We can finally possess a nation where all citizens are free to work, succeed and prosper, have a right to defend their families and properties, and no longer need to pay personal income taxes. If this leaner, meaner (to terrorists) nation sounds a bit familiar, it is because this is precisely the country that existed before progressives screwed the pooch. Wouldn’t it be nice to give them what they have coming to them?

Going Rouge, Citizen Style

Show up, stand up and be heard, or be herded. There are no other choices. And if you don't speak out, it may well be the last time you get the chance. Today, 50% said the Prez should not seek re-election, 49% said he should. What in God's name does it take for some of you people to get mad? If the last few months haven't been enough, then your freedom may already be lost. Are you on alert and just worried about 'some' of the issues, but not all? Everyone has a story of how government has affected them, good or bad. Everyone can get involved in conversations at the watercooler or in the coffee shop, but do you stop at some point because you lack rebutal or fall short of details of the day? In that case, it's still your duty to stir yourself to action. You must take the timeout of whatever is going on in your busy lives to get yourselves 'up to speed' on what is going on.
If you have conservative beliefs and enjoy life without big brother telling you what your next move is, then listen or tivo Fox. They are the only network to give FAIR and unbiased news. If you hug trees, think your Unions are looking out for you, believe in letting schools raise your children, love limited healthcare and think it is OK for the IRS to fine or jail you, then continue to listen to the liberals on CNN,NBC,MSNBC,CBS and the like. Old Times, Herold and Gazette newspapers are just as bad. Get online and seek current events and you will get Both sides of any story. Get registered to vote, get educated on the candidates and become an active participant in whatever direction the future may bring to us all as Americans. We as a free people are at the crossroads or tipping point of what this country will become and what the days ahead will be for us now, our children and future generations. Personally, I am sick of being told I should feel guilty for making a good (not wealthy by any means)living and that because I work hard to succeed, I should feel obligated to share with those who don't...sorry, that's just unAmerican.
Get active, educated and be the leader of the herd or forever be herded. It's not too late. Today is your chance to decide. The 'Change' we all hoped for to come out of Washington, was less corruption, less spending and a smarter better secure country. It's NOT what we have been getting and now is the time to 'Go Rouge' and make the 'Changes' ourselves to begin to take back our government in November. Waiting for someone else to do it for you will only assure you of freedom lost. And that is not and has never been the America and the American people I've come to know.

Well intentioned Americans now press for the November elections in hopes of cleaning house.Do not underestimate the evil behind the events unfolding in America. The battle for America's future is not without the risk of the opposition doing whatever it takes for the power behind the Obama agenda to REMAIN IN POWER.
Martial Law if imposed would change the rules of the game for all Americans and halt November elections leaving current runaway government agendas unstoppable.
There are people on both sides of American issues who are capable of crossing a line which could affect American liberty.
As determined as President Obama and others are to push through their agendas, ...do not underestimate the desire and capability to subdue the nation. They are looking for any excuse... do not give in to it!

Already, there are racial and anti-gay slurs being thrown around. How does anyone know they are not from Acorn, Communists, Jihad, or Nazi groups bent on destroying America?
A real or perceived (staged) national emergency to justify an imposition of Martial law , would change the ball game indefinitely. If imposed by any justification before November 2010 an Executive Order by America's 'Commander in Chief' would change the rules of the game for all Americans and halt November elections leaving current runaway government agendas unstoppable.

Given the patterns and practices by Democrats over many months to gain a victory for 'Health Care Reform' ...anything is possible.

When 'GREEN' just isn't funny!
A disturbing Super Bowl commercial...in humor, but sure drives the point of the intentions of the 'Eco-Extremists". This is a window into their perfect world thinking.
My commercial would show the financial rape of the economy these treehugging extremists inflict on People and their wallets.
I would show dust bowl conditions they created in the most fertile productive land in Calif because of a fish. I would show the timber industry cranking out lumber that now costs you triple the sq ft to build a home that also has to be 'green' and because additional housing regulations imposed, keeps you from ever moving out of your old house. I would show how stimulus tax dollars used to build roads with bridges for turtles while existing bridges in the USA crumble. I would show how every infrastructure project takes years to become 'shovel ready' due to impact studies. How 'permits' are the current police that stunt any innovation and creative frugalism. I would show how 'credit bureaus' have become the economy police with more control than your banks. I would show the nutrition police, education police, communication police,and the list goes on.
The green police are not little men with clipboards, ticket pads or handcuffs.....the satire of this commercial is the police are actually all the Regulations and Laws imposed with so-called good intentions that have crippled the American Dream.
Most assume the Green Police are focused on ‘protecting and conserving the Earth’ and are now a 'part of modern life' and I say,
"Real Americans are not pro-dirty water. We don't like pollution. Real conservatives would rather recycle than throw things away needlessly. We love a clean environment, too. But those of us who still value liberty and freedom are wary because radical environmentalists appear to embrace the "green police" concept and are sucking the 'Life' out of those humans that inhabit this earth....they suck the life out of true Americanism.

Financial Tornado 2010 - The Day the Dollar Died

Ordinary citizens worked at their jobs, sent their children to school and worried about their grades, maneuvered for promotions and rejoiced when they got them, and generally expected things to get better than the year before, for it was the American Way. You work hard, pay your taxes, live a good life, stay out of trouble with the law and all is well.
2009 ushered in a new President who rode the wave of 'change'. The people wanted less government and transparency. They wanted the politicians to clean up their porkbellied wild spending from the Bush days and they thought the young Obama was their man. Instead, we got a inexperienced idealist who is failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiatives, and most importantly, in forging connections with the American people. The promises of his campaign were lies, he's a phony, knows nothing about economics, and is historically illiterate and woefully small minded for the size of the task. He has enlisted advisors for every aspect of his administration and lets the unelected run the country. He has no clue to the long term effects of having a majority vote for any bill, ignoring the wisdom of those who oppose him and the wishes of the people, the citizens. He closes his first year with false stimulation, with a huge Healthcare bill under his belt and Global Cap and Trade well on it's way, blameing the previous presidents for the state of the economy.
2010 will be the year of change....these changes will take everyone by surprise.
There will be a Run on the U.S. Dollar ....Soon - Within the next 12 months, the U.S. Treasury will have to refinance $2 trillion in short-term debt. And that's not counting any additional deficit spending, which is estimated to be around $1.5 trillion. Foreign countries own over 44% of our debt. The USA is a net debtor to the world.
We have seen the storm brewing for some time now. There are big banks of clouds building on the horizon. Picture a big funnel dropping down out of the clouds. Swirling round and round is WallStreet,the Fed, Banks, Agriculture, Congress, Imports, Exports, Oil, and the US Dollar.
The funnel is swirling and growing everyday, swirling and making a fine whippet of a tail, just about to hit ground. When the Financial Tornado hits, it will zig-zag through every state, county and town. No person will go unharmed.
The tornado hits soil....The Dollar is Dead.
With the currency goes many of the lifetime plans of average citizens, also the American Way.
Most Citizens are taken by surprise by the financial tornado. Those who didn't plan ahead for any type of disaster, natural or otherwise, are suddenly desperate.
The Banks are closed, credit cards and atms are worthless, as are all paper investments:401K's, pensions, savings, stocks, bonds and insurance policies. Citizens will scramble to get rid of their currency on hand, exchanging it for any hard asset that has a seller willing to accept cash, even at a much inflated price. Food will be the most desirable commodity, water will soon follow.
Survivors of the Great Depression and those who 'think' it will be similar, will be shocked at how events turn out this time around.
"People just didn't understand what was happening. All the economic theory they had been taught didn't provide for the phenomenon. There was a feeling of utter dependence on anonymous powers -- almost as a primitive people believed in magic -- that somebody must be in the know, and that this small group of 'somebodies' must be a conspiracy."
"The cities were still there, the houses not yet bombed and in ruins, but the victims were millions of people. They had lost their fortunes, their savings; they were dazed and inflation-shocked and did not understand how it had happened to them and who the foe was who had defeated them. No Fema or RedCross to the rescue.
Companies, businesses, factories and all manufacturing will close
until they can figure out a way to pay their employees.
No money=No heat, electricity, phone,cable and other infrastructure.
Moms and Dads will do the unthinkable to keep their children fed.
No SS checks for the elderly or Welfare for the poor.
People who had worked a lifetime found that their valuables would not buy one cup of coffee.
The law-abiding citizens will crumbled into petty thievery. Riots and looting, and drastic elimination of the population will occur for both good people and bad.
Gasoline is siphoned from cars until there is no more.
Hospitals and pharmacies will be emptied of all drugs and medicines, patients as well.
Trucking will end and grocery stores will not be restocked.
Farmers will not be able to plant or harvest.
There will be no laws or anyone to enforce the old ones.
Those families who survive the first month, will have received the education of a full combat veteran. America will be a 3rd world country and surviving will only be possible for those willing to adapt. Those who stay morally just and are willing to work harder than they ever have in their lives will survive.
There will be roaming criminals and gangs of lazy entitled people who think their survival is more important than yours. True survivors will walk softly and carry a big stick. Yes, guns will be the only way to protect the haves from the havenots. And the banding together of good people in small protective groups, who will work to protect and survive all dangers presented, will be the norm.
And what happens with the government and the USA? Those officials who are not assassinated or have commited suicide, will have gone into hiding. There will be no one left in Washington to take charge. The World economy will suffer and other countries will soon follow suit. The foreign investors who feel they need to be paid back for their ustreasury bills and other assets, will come calling to take possession. Other countries may see it as a great opportunity to do the same and they will go to war against each other on our soil.
Our troops are stranded in Iraq and Iran. Our military here at home, as well as citizen volunteers, will be commanded by true Patriots and will fight the good fight. The outcome is anyone's guess. If nuclear warheads are never used and foreign intruders are sent packing, recovery of the homeland will be slow.
Survivors will be as the pioneers were and the economy be built by trading and bartering for labor or the products made. Trade fairs and farmers markets will bring in more buyers and sellers. Gold and junk silver coins will be the mobile currency until small town banking can back notes and loans to bring local commerce back. A Free-Market entrepreneurial economy will pave the way for the New Libertarian - one who opposes government intervention, i.e., a defender of Liberty and Constitution.
It will take years, possibly decades before the people slowly allow any formal government to intrude in their lives. When government and taxes are needed for the expansion, the Constitution will be followed. All tax dollars will be held by the States as the new Treasury. The Government will never spend more than what is collected and any Bill that spends tax dollars that effects future generations, will be voted on by the citizens before going to the President for signing.
America will become American again and alot of tuff Patriots will sacrifice everything to make this happen.
Parting thought, as we head into 2010, go prepared people. Do the simple research of what you need to do to get prepared for the worst, it will be the best insurance you can buy. Invest your dollars while they still have value. Have plenty of food and water on hand and get the skills and knowledge to make the right decisions for optimal self sufficiency. Also, follow the wise advice on many great websites, forums and podcasts. Get Ready!

Happy Independence Day

Here it is, another Fourth of July. Traditionally, this is a day to gather with friends, maybe fire up the barbeque and play with kids until the sun sets and the fireworks start. But in thinking back on the meaning behind this day, we must never forget that our nation was baptized in the blaze of a very different kind of "fireworks." Yes, this is a day of rest and relaxation, as well it should be, but this year…I'd like to ask you a favor. At some point during the day, I hope you'll take time to think and reflect on what it is we're truly celebrating on the 4th of July -- our Independence Day. Of course the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4th, 1776 but it's so much more than that. On this day, 233 short years ago, a small group of men dedicated themselves to a higher purpose, an ideal they believed in so greatly, they signed their name to its expression and in doing so put their very lives at risk.
Never has a simple act of signing one's name carried such weight, such a profound commitment. By signing the Declaration of Independence, 56 men stood in direct defiance of the British government. They became marked men, and willingly so. As I was doing some research on the significance of July 4th, I came across some interesting facts about these men. Today as we all enjoy the freedom our forefathers guaranteed us, join me in honoring the extraordinary sacrifice of 56 extraordinary Americans.
Of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence:
Five were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes burned to the ground. Two lost sons serving in the Revolutionary Army, and two more had sons captured. Nine fought and died in the Revolutionary War.
If you ever feel like your lone voice can never be heard, that the political system isn't set up for "regular" Americans to change the course of history, remember: The signers were flesh and blood, mortal men with a divinely-inspired aim.
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists, eleven were merchants, and nine were farmers and large plantation owners. They were well educated, smart enough to know that by signing the Declaration of Independence, they were signing their own death warrants. They did it anyway, and God bless them for it.
As we enjoy our liberty on this 4th of July, or any day of any month, we must never take that liberty for granted. Too many have given too much. In the words of the Signers themselves, "For the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."
Their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor -- I think that's a price paid worth a few minutes of reflection, don't you? But let's not be solemn in that reflection. I say rejoice and share this information with your friends and family, especially your kids. The Signers asked for nothing in return for their pledge, but I say that we show our thanks with a pledge of our own: To remember, to be grateful, and to carry on in their spirit. America is the greatest country this world has ever and will ever know, and it will stay that way so long as "we the people" remember that just like in 1776.
It's US that surrounds them, and we'll never back down.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all States of this great union are created equal. It is a matter of conscience as Citizens of our respective States that we herein declare with one voice; Federal tyranny will be acceptable no longer. As Sovereign, Free, and Moral men we live for the birthright given by The Creator. No longer will the people tolerate an obtrusive and abusive federal bureaucracy. We the People will overcome the foes of personal freedom. No longer will we suffer. You have raided our treasuries. Our natural resources have been raped from the land we once held ownership to. Yet here again the Fourth of July in the year of our Lord two-thousand and nine is come upon us. More federal atrocity forced on an already ill-treated and unrepresented Citizenry. As the fathers of this country before us we proclaim from this day forth; Mr. President, Congress, we shall have no obligation to you any further! Your crimes against your own people cannot appear as anything less than a Declaration of your own, a Declaration of War! Fight us no more, listen to our humble pleas, and remember the freedom you are sworn to protect is not yours to surrender. Your jobs are to be the guardians of the Legacy left to us purchased by the blood of our brethren. We humbly seek a Redress of Grievances, a right given to us from the Founders in the united States Constitution. Lloyd Marcus is a singer, a songwriter, a patriot, and supporter of the Tea Party movement. Mr. Marcus is a dedicated conservative. Mr. Marcus is also African-American.
Janene Garofalo called all Tea Party participants "Racists" in a now infamous interview with Keith Olbermann. Lloyd Marcus was not amused and even wrote a letter to Ms. Garofalo. Read it HERE.
Mr. Marcus did more than just write a letter, however. He wrote a song. His song is now the Tea Party Anthem. It debuted worldwide yesterday on YouTube.
"Rick Santelli's rant ignited a fire across America. I, like my fellow patriots, was outraged by the Obama administration's hijacking of our Freedom, Liberty and Culture! While driving to Walmart, I wrote the lyrics and melody. Fearful of forgetting, what I felt was a great song, I called my recording studio and sang the song on the answering machine. I'm a talk radio and Fox news listener. Thus, I am pretty in tune with the feelings and concerns of my fellow conservatives," says Mr. Marcus.
"Upon hearing my anthem, my brilliant producer and long time friend, Frank Starchak, said he felt it was a gospel/rock song. Frank played all of the instruments. Due to scheduling problems and my deadline (having it ready for the March 21st Orlando Tea party), Jen Stackpole and I sang all of the voices."
'“American Tea Party Anthem” debuted on Orlando radio on a Tuesday, "Bud Hedinger Live!” By Thursday the song was featured on World Net Daily. Then, the bloggers embraced it. The following week it was a hit on YouTube and I was getting requests to perform it at Tea Parties around the country," says Marcus

WAKING UP FROM THE AMERICAN DREAM

Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Americans were “inspired” by the promise of a better life. A wife, a house, two cars, and children to whom it would all be passed down were the “inspiration” which compelled common men to spend long hours toiling in fields, shops, factories and other places, enduring hardships and pain, in hope of fulfilling a better life for themselves and their family. Their “perspiration” in pursuit of what would later become known as “the American dream” is what propelled America into a great industrial empire that by the early 20th century had become the envy of the world. It was American “inspiration” and “perspiration” which produced numerous technological marvels which continue to impact the world to this day. We saw the development of the automobile, the assembly line, the first silent movie, the radio, which gave way to the television, the telegraph which gave way to the telephone, and eventually the Internet.
During the 20th century, we were told and taught that America was the land of “opportunity.” We were promised that we could be dirt poor, possess nothing but the clothes on our back and a dogged determination to work hard, and nothing would be impossible. Many foreigners bought into the promise of the “dream” and applied for citizenship. Others drown on makeshift rafts, risked firing ranges and various means of torture in an effort to reach our shores, seek refuge and escape the clutches of totalitarian, authoritarian, and communist rule in pursuit of “the American dream.”
As the 20th century wore on, there were many warning signs along the way which should have awakened the people to the reality that something was amiss with their republic. Long forgotten was the veiled warning of Benjamin Franklin when, on that fateful day in September of 1787, at the door of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, he told the anxious Mrs. Powel that we’ve given you “a republic, if you can keep it.”
The 21st century began with a bang. An orchestrated act of “terrorism” turned the world into a den of bogeymen. Suddenly, we were given a dire warning: a myriad of Mohammads, camel-riding cave dwellers with flight manuals and box cutters in tote, a bearded CIA asset named Bin Laden, whose family just happened to be business partners with the White House executive — all purportedly “wanted us dead.” We were told we were in a new war for our “freedom,” but that we would have to relinquish that freedom to remain safe. Again, Americans ignored the words of Franklin when he admonished that “they that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” We were groped, scanned, databased, profiled, and surveilled. But Americans didn’t worry. They flew their communist Chinese-made American flags, sported their slave-labor-manufactured bumper stickers full of crying eagles and patriotic slogans, and opted to leave the job of “government” to psychotic professionals. They punched the clock, worked their overtime, and pressed harder in their pursuit of that euphoric and rapturous imagination known to them as “the American dream.”
To say that the rate at which the federal mob is inflating the money supply, stealing our labor, and swelling the national debt is “alarming” would be the understatement of the age. Couple that with the ever-increasing unemployment lines, and the hundreds of thousands of newly homeless, and you have finally managed to concoct the perfect recipe to capture the attention of the some most hardened deniers of the conspiracy to take down America.
Hence, we see the dazed, emotionless appearances on the faces of the teaming masses, wiping the sleep from their bleary eyes, attempting to reconcile the long-cherished promise of “the American Dream” with their dire reality — unemployment, poverty, crime, gang violence, drug cartels, pending social unrest and rampant anti-social behavior, disappearing borders, government surveillance and databasing, identity theft, and massive taxation and inflation.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. America was supposed to be the vibrant example of freedom and prosperity — the example of how liberty and a free market could pave the way to the impossible, an impossible known as “the American dream.” We are living the history of our country’s demise.
The night has been long and costly to you, America. The warmth and comfort with which you have long slept, is finally over. While many tried to warn you of the dangers that lie ahead, you chose to turn away, refusing to heed the warnings. The comfort of your slumber and the pursuit of “the dream” prevailed as constitutionalists cried, grieved, and tried to attract your attention. Many warned you of betrayal, lost freedoms, and the bankruptcies that lie ahead. Still, you steadfastly refused to listen.
